WG3 members had a meeting in Dresden
COST Action COREnet Working Group 3 members had a meeting on 23rd October 2023 at Dresden University of Technology. Thirteen early career and senior researchers from eleven European countries (Finland, Croatia, Norway, Switzerland, Turkey, Serbia, Slovakia, Malta, Lithuania, Italy and Germany) discussed WG3 implemented activities, achievements, milestones and plans for the Third Grant Period of the Action.
During the meeting, COREnet members made plans for organising three workshops with practitioners working with immigrants and discussed
- Collecting, systematizing, and presenting data about co-pilot projects related to religious diversity and migration;
- Developing a framework for the design of practice-oriented research projects in the area of religious diversity and migration;
- Developing the common framework for master theses in the area of practices related to religious diversity and migration.
The meeting was enriched by a few interesting presentations. Lilia Diriavka from Ukrainisches Koordinationszentrum Dresden gave a lecture on „Practical experience of assistance to adaptation of Ukrainian migrants in Dresden“, Suat Uçar talked about “Empowering women with a kitchen story project”, Anita Lunic discussed “Students’ attitudes toward refugees and migrants”, and Berihun Wagaw talked about “Experience of working with refugees and starting PhD project”.
