The Second COREnet Management Committee Meeting Held in Kaunas

The second meeting of the COREnet Management Committee and Working Groups took place in Kaunas, Lithuania, on 27 – 28 June, and was the first live meeting of both the Management Committee and Working Groups. For three days, COREnet members – researchers on religion and migration – presented the work done so far in the first year of the Action and discussed the next steps. 

The meeting was complemented by a lecture on religion and migration during the war by one of the members of the Action, Dr. Olena Panych, historian of religion. This lecture gave a deeper insight of how the war in Ukraine enforces migration and influences religious identities. 

This meeting took place at the Grant Holder institution, Vytautas Magnus University (Lithuania).
