CVEK is an independent non-governmental organisation that seeks to contribute to the creation of a more just and cohesive society through its research, analytical and educational activities. The Centre was established in 2005 and is based in Bratislava. Its goal is to systematically contribute to creating an environment where every person can feel like a valuable and respected being. CVEK’s work is based on human rights principles such as respect for the dignity of every person and the diversity of society._x000D_
CVEK’s activities are primarily focused on ethnic, linguistic and religious minorities. CVEK focus on the inclusion of marginalised groups, be they Roma, migrants or other minorities. The thematic focus is mainly in the areas of education, housing, social situation, inter-ethnic relations and political participation.
