Migration and gender. Ukrainian women with higher education fleeing the war conflict. How’s their integration process into the environment of a foreign country and the possible barriers and challenges associated with their employment in the profession when they are often all alone in a different cultural environment as mothers with children, pupils or students? How did they cope with their situation, and what strategies did they seek and find to lead a dignified life?
Presenters:
- Dr. Oksana Yuriyivna Stupak, originally from Donbas University, after the invasion Drahoman university, currently an assistant professor in the Social Pedagogy department, Masaryk University;
- Mgr. Olena Nesterenko, manager and historian, currently a teacher assistant in a primary school in Brno, Czechia, assistant in AMO and Faculty of Education projects;
- Dr. Natalya Marakhoovska, Mariupol University, Ukraine; currently a member of CERPEK project, researcher and English language teacher
- Olga Zhmurko, a researcher at the Masaryk University, Ph.D. student of the Department of Sociology, Faculty of Social Studies.
