The aim of the webinar is to present the results of research conducted among Ukrainian migrants in Poland who arrived after the outbreak of the war in Ukraine. Interviews were conducted in the Ukrainian language, either through an online platform, by telephone, or in face-to-face meetings. The goal of the research was to answer the question of what the most essential needs are for individuals in different age groups and different family situations (single individuals, mothers with young children, elderly).
The gathered data will develop recommendations for NGOs engaged in relief efforts. The research was carried out in response to the needs of these organizations, which, after the initial period of providing basic care to incoming refugees, wanted to direct forms of assistance toward meeting the needs of migrant women and enhancing their empowerment and resilience.
