Join us for an interactive session with Dr. Majbritt Lyck-Bowen that will explore interpersonal trust in community-based participatory research. Dr. Lyck-Bowen will argue that interpersonal trust is temporal, dynamic and often taken for granted rather than intentionally addressed. She will reflect on her experiences from a recent community-based participatory research project that focused on the roles of language cafes in integrating migrants.
These reflections will include examples of promising practice as well as challenges in developing and maintaining interpersonal trust before, during and after fieldwork in a community-based setting. Participants will be encouraged to reflect on and share their own experiences of developing and maintaining trust in their research.
Date and time of webinar: 13 March 2025, 4:00 PM – 4:45 PM (CET) / 3:00 PM – 3:45 PM (GMT).
