Those who want to get general consulting about family matters, those who need counseling or those who don’t know where to go to get necessary support are encouraged to talk to them. Interviews are in confidential and for free. It would be considered to get an interpreter’s help without cost when the concerned person needs it.

Please be noticed that this service is not only for the traditional missionary work, but also for the general consulting. Therefore those who are not related with Christian faith can use the service without hesitation.

Mission:

The primary objectives of Caritas Iceland are two fundraising events during the year, one in Advent and one in Lent. The funds raised during Advent are used to support the sick and people with physical and learning difficulties, the elderly, as well as socially disadvantaged children. The funds raised during Lent support projects in poor countries in Africa, Asia and South America, in cooperation with Caritas Denmark.
